Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actor who is known for her roles in movies including 'Quantum Solace', 'The Reappearance of Alice Creed', and 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters'. She was born in Gravesend located in Greater London. After studying in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and a few years of professional work, she made her debut by playing supporting actress in the comedy film 'St. Trinian's'. The James Bond film Quantum of Solace the film, which came out just a few days later, she was a minor role. It became a hit commercially, but it received generally average reviews. In the following film, she played an actress in the action adventure film 'Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time'. She also played a role as a support on the French film 'Orphan'. Arterton was nominated to numerous honors throughout her professional career. She won her the "Empire Award for the Most Outstanding Newcomer" in the movie "Quantum of Solitude" as well as her "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her role in the musical'Made in Dagenham". In addition, she won the Glamour Awards for Woman of the Years in 2011.
